Landfall, our largest golf and country club community, is located on the mainland side of the Intracoastal Waterway just across from Wrightsville Beach and wonderfully convenient to both the Landfall and Forum shopping/business centers and the Mayfaire Town Centre. Behind the gated entries lie beautiful homes, immaculate lawns, and the Country Club of Landfall with two clubhouses, an 18-hole golf course and a second 18-hole plus 9 additional hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus and Pete Dye, a superb tennis facility (the most competitive tennis in Wilmington), and an Olympic-size swimming pool. Homes range in price from $415,000 to $8,400,000 (for a home on the Intracoastal Waterway) and there are still home sites available.

Porters Neck is located north of Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach very close to the Intracoastal Waterway. Also a gated community, it is built around the award winning Tom Fazio-designed golf course. The residents enjoy a sports complex (two pools, clay tennis courts and a fitness center) and have a boat storage area and a boat ramp, which gives them access to the Intracoastal Waterway. With their inviting front porches, the homes in Porters Neck reflect the influence of traditional Southern architecture. Homes range in price from $360,000 to $900,000 and there are still home sites available. Porters Neck also has two other neighborhoods, Creekside and Bishops Park, which are located outside the gates but which still offer club membership – and lower homeowners’ dues.

Olde Point and Belvedere are older golf communities located north of Wilmington in the Hampstead area. These are also located close to the Intracoastal and both still have available home sites. Homes in these communities range in price from $140,000 to over $1,000,000 (waterfront).

Pine Valley and Echo Farms are also older golf communities, communities located within the Wilmington city limits. Homes range in price from $195,000 to $600,000 depending on their location, size and age.

The Cape and Beau Rivage are smaller golf communities located at the south end of New Hanover County - just north of Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. Homes range in price from $200,000 to $950,000, again depending on age, size and location.
